With her recording home base at Arlyn Studios, a key fixture in Austin’s music scene since the early 1980s, Annabelle puts her songwriting prowess to the test.
She has spent the last two years writing, recording, and collaborating with Austin-based artists on a collection of exciting projects that she can’t wait to share with the world.

“I wrote this song randomly one night in the first semester of last year. I sparked an idea to write about all the pressures we feel, not only as girls, but as human beings in general.
I think that a lot of girls, myself included, feel a lot of pressure to be perfect and fit a certain standard because of the things we are told by our peers – and online. We try to make our lives seem like something they are not in order to please the public eye, when in reality, trying to be perfect is taking up your life.”

Worst Favorite Mistake
“This is a very personal and relatable song about a heartbreak I experienced.
I think that a lot of people relate to the feeling of thinking a relationship was a mistake, while also loving all of the amazing memories you made when you were in it. During this relationship, I loved him so much – to the point that I couldn’t do what was best for me and let him go.”
